I’m Mike Gregor, pastor of the Southside Boulevard United Methodist Church. I’ve been a pastor in the United Methodist Church for 25 years. My wife Nan and I are happy to be among this wonderful group of folks who have a heart for mission both locally and globally.
I was born and raised in Seattle, WA, and then moved to North Dakota, where both of my parents grew up, and graduated from high school there. Midwest winters were not for me, and I moved to Oregon where I met Nan in 1985. We raised two children in Portland before heading to seminary in 1995. Along the way, we adopted two more kids, so we have three girls and one boy. The three oldest are all married and have blessed us with five grandchildren. The youngest is a teen and off on her own.
If you like a smaller, family-oriented worship experience with a mix of traditional and contemporary hymns, perhaps Southside is a place for you. Maybe you’re tired of the larger church where you feel more like a number than a person. That’s not the case here at Southside, and we would love to have you join us. Like Philip said to Nathanael in the gospel of John, “Come and see”. Come and see if Southside is the place that God is calling you to be.
