Throughout the year, besides Sunday School and Confirmation classes for kids, the church offers Vacation Bible School, camps, special events, trips, plays or pageants and special offerings of various kinds to enrich the lives and education of our children. All kids are loved and acknowledged every week by the congregation at Southside, and there is a special time during each Sunday morning service for children to interact with Pastor Mike.

The children and youth of Southside collect coins every third Sunday of each month to support a local school, Operation Wishbook and other projects – this offering involves kids ministering to and helping other kids. They raise enough money to provide hundreds of books to local schools.
